Metro Booming Training Academy (MBTA) is now enrolling for the MetroTech S.M.A.R.T. Pathways Workforce Initiative, designed to prepare individuals in Jackson, Mississippi and surrounding communities for high-demand, well-paying technical careers.
Get hands-on, career-focused training in areas such as HVAC, Electrical, Energy Auditing, Code Enforcement, Facility Maintenance, and Smart Technology.
Participants can:
Train in HVAC or Electrical systems
Earn industry-recognized credentials, including OSHA 10 and the ACT WorkKeys National Career Readiness Certificate
Advance into specialized career bootcamps
Receive career coaching and life skills training
Connect with apprenticeship and career advancement opportunities

We certify mechanics from Mississippi Job Corps Centers and surrounding areas. We utilize the ASE curriculum which is national-recognized, competency based, standardized training curriculum giving industry leading credentials for a highly skilled workforce within Mississippi.
ADVANCED TRAINING FACILITIES
METRO BOOMING TRAINING ACADEMY, INC.’s 20,000 square ft. advanced training facility is in the center of Jackson, MS, located on a 10-acre lot with 35,000 square foot of potential warehouse space for redevelopment and 8 bay areas that contain lifts and other top-of-the-line training equipment for superior teaching capabilities.
